Aview Villa's location:
Situated behind Table Mountain, 13 Theresa Avenue (Aview Villa) is also close to the stunning and famous Twelve Apostles Hotel, as well as being near Lions Head. This makes it a prime spot for guests, who have the gems of Cape Town right on their doorstep. To top it all off, just 1km down the road is South Africa's premier beach: Camps Bay.
With its gorgeous white sandy beaches and towering palm trees, Camps Bay is the place to be, whether you are young or old, want to relax or get active. Camps Bay is literally one of the city’s most favourable holiday destinations.
Aview Villa is located at the very top of the Camps Bay suburb, so it gives you stunning beach and sea views, together with scintillating and very romantic evening sunsets. It is close to Cape Town centre, Table Mountain and its cable car, the scenic Chapmans Peak Drive to Cape Point, as well as the Cape Town Football Stadium, V&A Waterfront as well as a few tourist information centres.
On entering the Villa through a lusciously natural entrance hall, you will find a formal lounge with an open fireplace, a living room, a superb dining room, (double volume with large picture window), the Gamesroom (with chess, dart board, pool table, air hockey table & soccer table), a fully equipped kitchen and a laundry. It is therefore wonderfully self-catering.
There are 4 bedrooms, comfortably sleeping 8 people, along with 3 bathrooms (main en-suite with spa bath & dressing room).
Sleeping facilities can also be arranged in the very large Gamesroom, which is the highest room in the Villa with its own patio & unobstructed views of the whole of Camps Bay & the Table Mountain Nature Reserve. Each bedroom is equipped with its own TV, clock radio, air-conditioner (heating & cooling), a safe, torch & hair drier. All linen, crockery & cutlery are provided, except beach towels. A large remote controlled double garage (with lots of storage), is directly linked to Aview Villa.
The AA (Automobile Association) also grades establishments, and few reach the Superior Accommodation status.
13 Theresa Avenue (Aview Villa) has achieved this with great ease, adding to its accreditations.
Every aspect of the villa is inspected: linen, type of matresses, cutlery, equipment, maintenence, facilities, etc, etc. nothing slips past the AA's watchful eye!!

| The most tranquil and magical setting ever, just perfect for those sundowners while you stare gloriously across Camps Bay. What an unforgetable view as the name so aptly implies. We have very fond memories of our visits to Aview, the hospitality, the views , the sunsets, absolutely magnificient. There are really not enough words to describe how awesome Aview really is. It is lovely and central to all the attractions that Cape Town has to offer including the Waterfront and loads of lovely restaurants.
I would definately recommend this little piece of heaven anytime. It is the perfect place and everything at your fingertips! |

| My family and I visited Cape Town for my daughter's Cape Town destination wedding which coincided with the World Cup. We arrived in Cape Town at 2100 hours and when we arrived at A View, Duncan was waiting and showed us a stocked refrigerator. He was gracious, warm and charming. But my one complaint with him is that he did not adequately warn us about the dilemma that A View poses. The front rooms and patios present a spectacular, breathtaking panoramic view of Camps Bay which competes with the back rooms and patio which have an equally stunning view of Table Mountain. Imagine a villa with Monterey Peninsula (California) on one side and the high desert country of Santa Fe, New Mexico on the other. I could talk about the outdoor heated pool or the outdoor hot tub but the problem is we didn't have time to use them. A View is strategically located so our days were filled with horseback riding, shark diving, wine tastings, fine restaurants at nighttime and soaking up as much of Cape Town as possible. We did host a dinner party for twenty people at A View. The villa is so spacious and appointed with with everything that makes entertaining a breeze from the game room (billiards) to the four stunning patios and a large fireplace for intimate conversations. Our only mistake was not extending our time. Duncan and Jillian, you have a spectacular villa! Anyone going to Cape Town, especially Americans would be well advised to stay here as opposed to the hotel scene. |
When the accommodation officials come to assess the property annually, they comment time after time that our position is unbeatable, the villa is immaculate & that we offer exceptional value for money
