DESCRIPTION
Only a 2,5hours drive from JSB Int. Airport, you will find 24Riviere Private Game Farm close to the little town of Vaalwater(Mabatlane). The farm is located on top of a mountain in the Malaria free Waterberg Biosphere. Staying in one of the different types of accommodation you will experience nature at his best. And although your stay will be in the bush or the mountains, luxury and comfort are there, accompanied by excellent food. The atmosphere and beauty of this last undiscovered piece of South Africa, the silence of nature and at the same time the sounds of it, gives you the well deserved rest that you are looking for. Enjoy the typical African Bush or open Savannah with its beautiful views and spectacular sunsets that you see during a game drive or from your private lodge. When far away in the valley, the town of Vaalwater shows its lights and the day starts to rest, the game travels by your Mountain Lodge on their way to the waterholes. You’re part of nature

Some good restaurants can be found at a close range in the little town of Vaalwater, so you won't have any problems finding a great place to munch. However, if you're looking for a relaxing session at a beauty salon, we recommend you make an appointment beforehand. While you wait though, why not visit the local market and shops and have a refreshment on the terrace.

With several dams and rivers at close range in the Vaalwater area, families can enjoy fishing while watching the picturesque view of an African sunset.

For those of you who are passionate about their golf, it's only a 45 minute drive to the beautiful golf course in Modimolle. For the more adventurous guests, treat yourself to a game-viewing tour and a horse-back safari ride. You can even go on an elephant back rides in the Vaalwater. Or why not do a scenic hiking trip on the farm and in the area.

Dear Maryëtta & Henk, greetings from the cool and rainy Germany! We are back at home since Saturday, back in the everdays life, back to work... But we are living on the many great memories of the last three weeks. We had a fantastic journey from you in Limpopo to Kruger Nationalpark, Blyde River Canyon, Swaziland, KwaZulu Natal, Drakensberge, Golden Gate NP, Mountain Zebra NP, Addo Elephant NP, Gardenroute and last but not least down to Capetown. A great range from 6.000 km are behind us. The fact that we at first stayed with you was a mistake in our travel plans, because you have set the scale very high for the following accomodations. Wherever we have been, we enjoyed the landscape and the wildlife but we missed our wonderful lodge in 24 riviere and your great food. Some hosts, we would like to get sent to you to learn how to make guests happy.. :-) By the way: we have also realised our horseback-riding in Golden Gate Nationalpark, it was very nice and Uwe has done it very well. But the next day the muscle soreness not long in coming... :-) We hope that oneday we will come back to you again and then for longer than last time. We wish you all the best! Best regards Dani & Uwe

Henk, Maiyetta and staff Thanx for a wonderful weekend. The personal touch (our singing waiter who enjoys Phil Collins) makes such a difference staying away from home, and is not often found. The bungalows are superb, rustic, but comfortable, very, and finally a place which has decent, pillows! The food, well, what can we say, superb, friendly staff. We will definitely recommend your farm to any one, and everyone. Thank you for sharing your dream. P.S. Good luck with your future plans and building. Patience with the builders Henk!!
