Explore the fifteen hectares of enchanting beautiful garden surrounding the hotel. An eclectic collection of indigenous and exotic plants and trees has been assembled to provide one of the most interesting and well laid out hotel gardens in the country.
Below the hotel an indigenous aloe garden flows into orchards of macadamia trees. Linking onto one of the farm walks, a selection from one of South Africa's best-known clivia collections, The McNeil Collection, has been planted. This captivating garden borders a small stream, canopied by grand, indigenous trees.
Maps of marked walking paths are available at Reception – take a leisurely stroll or a brisk hike on one of the many routes – from 30 minutes to 3 hours. Secluded spots along the way provide the perfect setting for daydreaming, bird watching or mountain gazing and for added enjoyment, simple or sumptuous picnic basket lunches may be taken and enjoyed on the outing.
