DESCRIPTION
Driftwood Cottage is a cosy, quiet getaway within easy walking distance of all amenities in this quaint little village. Leave your car safely parked and walk to the shops, restaurants and pubs, perhaps take a meander into the countryside, or just chill out in our delightful garden with stunning views over the village across the rolling wheat, barley and canola farmlands north towards the Sonderend Mountains. A day on the beach? Arniston, Struisbaai and L’Agulhas are barely half an hour away. And at the end of the day return to the peace and privacy of your own accommodation, perhaps watch the sunset from the sundowner deck, settle in and make your stay a memorable one.
FEATURES
The charming village of Napier
Down on the main street of Napier you'll find an extraordinary array of shops, pubs, restaurants, galleries, arts and craft shops, museums and items of historical interest considering the size of the village. It is alive: vibrant and friendly. And if you were to draw a circle on a map of the Overberg, with Napier at the centre and the radius an hour's drive, you would be amazed at how much there is to see and do. Day trips abound; the roads are quiet and before you know it you're at your destination, whether it be the southernmost point of Africa or the mountains; wine tasting, cheese making, whale watching, great white shark cage diving; or just simply a picnic at De Mond nature reserve. But that, we would hope, would be after you've worked your way through everything of interest in Napier itself . . .
Driftwood Cottage
Driftwood Cottage
Cosy Driftwood Cottage sits in a secluded garden just a few minutes' walk from Napier's hub. It is a quaint, old world/farm-style self-catering cottage with an arty touch - we won't spoil the surprise by telling you all the details, but we can say our guests love it! Enjoy the absolutely stunning views from the patio while you braai/BBQ, or the sunsets from the boma viewing deck. Features include en-suite bathroom with old-fashioned bath and shower and a delightful four-poster bed. It is the ideal getaway for a couple, and there is an extra bed available in the lounge.

The colours and warmth of this lovely cosy cottage made us feel back at home. Everything is there, even a hammock! Service was exceptional and the owners very caring - we had a wonderful stay. Although miles away from our home in France, we really felt "at home". We will definitely be back.
