Jacob's Ladder near Komatipoort is a wonderful and relaxing establishment, which gives travellers self-catering accommodation for a maximum of eight guests.

The house consists of three air-conditioned bedrooms for two, with two single bedrooms above. The single beds are neatly nestled in a loft-like area, and all are air-conditioned, as it can get quite hot in the bushveld. For the lazy folk, a cleaning service is included.

The kitchen available is equipped with everything you need to cater for you and your group, and this leads into the lounge and dining area. Outside one has a swimming pool and braai (barbeque) facility, right next to the stunning Crocodile river, which is the border with the Kruger National Park.

Two bathrooms complete the house, so this is a comfortable accommodation spot in the middle of the bushveld.

The outside patio is often host to game (the safe kind!). Have a look at our pictures and get into the mood to relax in a real natural setting.

The famous Kruger Park is nearby, only 16km away from the its nearest gate. From the viewing deck one can see game and wildlife of all kinds. Sometimes you dont need to drive around as most of the Big 5 can be seen from the deck.

We are able to arrange transfers to and from the Kruger Airport in Nelspruit, day trips to the Kruger National Park as well as day trips to Swaziland, which is only 80km away.

Marloth Park is a game park which hosts vast amounts of animals including the Big 5, and all this set in the real natural habitat of the animals.

Jacob's Ladder self-catering house is situated perfectly to view wildlife, as well as relax in the Bushveld. Far away from the bustle of suburbia you will be able to enjoy the sights and sounds of the bush. There is a viewing deck which gives one good views of the game in the area, the Crocodile river and the Kruger National Park. At night it gives you an amazing view of the stars while you sit back and listen to the nocturnal animals, including Lion and Hyena.
