The Red Giant Obviouzly Armchair Backpackers and Pub is located in the heart of bohemian Observatory, Cape Town. The owners are warm and welcoming so before long you feel at home.

My name is Thomas Higgins and I had the pleasure of staying at Obviouzly Armchair. I have stayed in many hostels throughout the world but this place has definitely been one of the best. Michelle Has been a saviour, helping me travel and learn about Cape Town. The bar and food staff is terrific (I highly recommend "The Happy Meal"). If I do have the opportunity to return to Cape Town, Obviouzly Armchair will be my residence.
