Situated in a nature reserve, known for its wild flower displays and pink granite rocks, The Beach Camp™ in itself is an unusual feature with its fisher-man nets protecting you against the wind and sea-sand in your walk-in Tent or A-Frame – as well as a residents-only bar including the first Yerba Mate bar in Africa. Sleeping a limited number of people only, you can enjoy the exclusivity of this venue. Bird watching from the camp itself is quite amazing or as a resident of The Beach Camp™ you can explore the whole reserve. Go bouldering, hiking, mountain bike riding, fishing, visit the lighthouse, discover the kelp forests while diving… there is so much to see and do! The West Coast Fossil park is close enough to enjoy a half-day outing or walk along the beach to Paternoster and explore the little fishing village with its art studios and West Coast delicacies. At night, with no light pollution, stargazing is spectacular.
