A new addition to the Camps Bay Strip, Mynt has all the benefits of a view to die for and a menu to live for. Created by the owners of Julep and Café Mojito in Long Street (Theo Pearson and Graham Albone) this venue was designed with locals in mind, to bring back the feel of a relaxing neighbourhood café in an over commercialised and often overpriced neck of the “golden mile”.
The menu is seasonal, fresh, and focusses on quality ingredients, plated with skill and speed, in interesting combinations. For mains (dinner) we highly recommend the ostrich fillet, 300g of succulent ostrich fillet grilled and served with a gin and cranberry sauce. Cocktail wise, look out for the blueberry and chilli ginger mojitos, they are taste explosions that redefine this cocktail. There’s something for everyone at this beautiful spot by the sea, long may it last!
