Farmstalls & Road Trips - Natures Way Farm Stall & Cafe - Part 3

March 08, 2018

This is another traditional, family run Farm Stall that started in 2001 and is situated on a working dairy farm.

They specialise in homemade, local and imported cheeses, but also stock a variety of fresh breads, croissants and treats baked daily.

You will also find a huge variety of preserves, home-bakes, jams, free range eggs, honey, fruit and veg, wine (both local and other).  The cheese tapas is to die for (and a local specialty) but honestly, everything served here is prepared with love and wholesome attention.

A great stop for families, the kids will love it!

Farmstalls & Road Trips - Peregrine Farm Stall - Part 1

March 06, 2018

Every Capetonian has fond memories of the farm stall on the way to Hermanus, the rough-hewn wood smell, fresh breads and beautifully aged biltong.

Originally established in the sixties, this farmstall has grown to encompass a café, wine sales, artisanal products and wholesome, responsibly farmed produce.

Stock up on fynbos honey, fresh cold-pressed juices and champagne-style apple cider, or some of the craft beers they have on offer.

The Café menu is simple yet delightful, try something called the salmon bloom, it’s a butter croissant filled with fluffy scrambled free-range eggs and smoked salmon trout, divine.

Then saddle up and let’s continue with our road trip 😊
