Great Dates - Tasting Experience at Benguela Cove Lagoon- Part 3

July 12, 2018

This is a full day exercise and a total immersion into everything they have to offer at Benguela Cove. Starting with a Pontoon cruise (weather permitting), a cheese and charcuterie board, a light lunch, vineyard tour, cellar tour and a chocolate and wine pairing.

The pontoon (The Bonnie Mary) will take you out to the strip of pristine white sand that separates the lagoon from the ocean, the excellent cheese and charcuterie pairings will help you build up towards a magnificent lunch at the restaurant.

Following this you get shown the full behind the scenes of the estate, and a super decadent wine and chocolate pairing.

It’s a full day, and a beautiful experience to share with someone you care about.

Great Dates - The Pink Flamingo Rooftop Cinema - Part 2

July 11, 2018

Taking someone to the movies on a date has a classic ring to it, but how about doing it with an elegant, modern twist?

Perched on top of the Grand Daddy Hotel on Long street is the novel concept of a rooftop trailer park (seven gorgeous Airstream trailers) and cinema. You have full bar service, a selection of snacks you can pre-order and if you book well ahead, the super comfortable Love Seat or Couch to sprawl out in.

They regularly screen old favourites and have, over time, put together an amazing catalogue of screenings, set against the picturesque backdrop of the vintage trailers and the Cape Town skyline, this is certainly an experience to look forward to.
