Executive chef Carsten (Tony) Kocke, of the Pepper Club Restaurant is a renowned Michelin starred chef, with over thirty years of culinary experience in some of Europe's and South Africa's top establishments.
His attention to detail and complete dedication to his work shines through on ever single dish of food that is served.

Once we served our drinks, not one waiter/waitress came to see to us, yet the table right next to us were asked twice if things were fine. When we finally got the attention of a waiter for the bill, he only came back to us 5mins later. We asked for the bill again, and he proceeded to verbally tell us a total-no physical bill! I went to the manager to inform her of the terrible service we received, but no apology. Needless to say, we won't go back nor will we recommend it to anyone else. The worst service we have ever received anywhere in the world!!

we had been to the restaurant before in february 2011 and decided to go again to celebrate our anniversary in feb 2012. We were both disappointed with the service as we felt we were being rushed to make our drinks order, our waiter was not friendly, but came across as aggressive...perhaps he had a long day as it was already approaching 21:230...however that shouldnt matter. I ordered a seafood paella...which was bland and boring, all i ate was the rice and prawns and kept on having to put on salt and i do not generally do that. My husband had a steak with wedges and glazed carrots...he enjoyed the carrots more than the steak. All in all we were so disappointed, we decided not to take a chance with desert. when we had to pay, the card machine was broken and my husband had to leave and draw money at an atm...which took 30 minutes just to pay the bill. We definately wont be going back!
